Shopkeeper Animation List

Note

The Config.AI_EmoteList section in the configuration file allows you to define a wide range of animations and scenarios for your AI shopkeepers. These animations and scenarios can be used to make the shopkeepers more realistic and interactive within the store environment.

You can find relevant animations and scenarios for your shopkeepers by exploring the DPEmotes resource or referring to the animations listed in this GitHub page.

Danger

In this section, you can define both animations and scenarios. Animations are specific movement sequences that the shopkeeper performs, while scenarios are predefined behaviors or actions that the shopkeeper engages in.

Here’s an example of an animation entry:

["greet"] = {
    ["typicalGreet"] = {
        type = "animation",
        info = {"gestures@m@standing@casual", "gesture_hello", "Greet"},
        options = {
        emoteLoop = false,
        }
    },
    -- More greet animations...
},

In this example, we have a “greet” category that contains various greeting animations. The “typicalGreet” animation is defined with a type of “animation” and specifies the animation dictionary, animation name, and a label. The options table allows you to set additional parameters, such as whether the animation should loop or not.

Here’s an example of a scenario entry:

["janitor"] = {
    ["janitor"] = {
        type = "scenario",
        info = "WORLD_HUMAN_JANITOR"
    }
},

In this example, we have a “janitor” category that defines a scenario where the shopkeeper acts as a janitor. The type is set to “scenario” and the info field specifies the scenario name.

Danger

To link these animations and scenarios with a specific shopkeeper, you need to add the corresponding animation or scenario ID inside the stores_config.lua file and inside theConfig.AI_Shopkeepers.animationListsettings. For example:
